I work in a doctor’s office. The office manager looked at the medical records of an employee in the local hospital affiliated with (a program designed to facilitate access to evidence, etc. performed in the hospital and not locally.) Is illegal? I know it is a violation of HIPAA, but what could the phrase (s) is to review the medical records you have no right to consider? I am 100% sure that no information on the release of the files that you would have in their records.
