Which one should i choose Clinical Medical Assisting or Practical Nursing??
hi! I am a high school student who lives in New York and is deciding to do a course through my high school (Boces program). But I am not sure which course i should take “Clinical Medical Assisting or Practical Nursing”.
I plan on becoming some sort of doctor one day(not sure maybe an ER doctor or a general doctor). so i thought that this would be a good start on getting involved in the medical field.
The Clinical Medical Assisting course provides me with the basic training in the area of plebotomy, EKG, medical terminology, first aid/CPR, and medical assisting. It also enables me to become nationally certified by American Association of Allied Health Professionals (AAAHP).
The Practical Nursing course provides me with the basic nursing skills necessary to care for patients based on the principles of the biological physical and social sciences and includes a 100-hour clinical experience in affiliate hospitals. It also allows me to have a full-time clinical experience, so i can be eligible to take the New York State Board examination for licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (L. P. N. ).
But i am not sure which course i should take. Both sound great but which one is better for me.
Please Help Me Decide!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
