Is Jesus and/or the belief thereof REALLY an inportant issue in todays society?
When i was young growing up in the sixties religion was everywhere and going to church all day on sunday and wednesday night was almost mandatory, Most stores and restaurants were either closed or opened late on sunday, We had a Roman Catholic president and we had a daily prayer in school. We had bible school every tuesday after school But then as time went on religion became a thing of controversy and greed- Jimmy Swaggert, Jim and Tammy Bakker and others, Stores and restaurants no longer closed on sundays. Churches were more places to go to show off your clothes and cars. most religious programs on tv were not bible valid. suddenly we live in a society where we cannot pray in school, we cannot witness to others, we cannot have boy scout meetings in public places, now the only difference between religion and politics is the size of the offering plate, I talk to alot of people who say they have more important things to worry about then believing in a god who wont help them with their problems, Kids would rather watch Harry Potter then go to church, Even now I had a scout troop for a while but alot of the boys quit because it was affiliated with a freewill baptist church. I asked 25 kids these questions, 1 how many of Jesus’ disciples can you name. 2. Name 12 characters from harry potter. All but two kids named MORE than 12 characters from harry potter, Only 2 could name more than three disciples, These were some of names i got a nd they were serious about them too, some even argued about them. . . moses. Noah, jacob. Esau. Joe. Alexander, Bart, Are we now in a society that no longer knows or cares about Jesus?
Do affiliate programs require debit and/or credit cards?
I have been seeing and hearing about affiliate programs all over the web lately and they all tell their ways of making money easy and quickly. What I want to is this: do these programs require a debit or credit card account? I’m not even in the U. S. Please clarify about this and how it all really works.
When I ask this question, I’m on the sense of joining one of these programs to make some extra cash just to pay the bills when needed. You never know when you will need to make some extra money.
Is anyone familiar with the CRA Program and/or Mortgage Guaranty Insurance Co. ?
I have a FICO score above 800. 1st time home buyer. Putting down 20% for down payment. HSBC bank mentioned I would be a perfect candidate for a program that CRA offers…. MGIC. The mortgage consultant of HSBC offered me a lower rate than CHASE & Wells Fargo with 0 points. What is the catch, if any?
I read up on MGIC site. Not sure if I’m understanding it correctly but it seems like if I ever decide to sell the house, the buyer’s bank must also be affiliated to CRA/MGIC or better say, the buyer must also be a candidate for this program which is to be a low income family. Is this correct? Any other things that I should be weary about with this program?
Where is the best place to start a blog and/or website that I can earn money with advertisment affiliates?
I love to write. My dream is to write a best seller some day but that is a dream that will have to wait a little while because I need to earn extra income at this time, as soon as possible.
I thought, what better way to work on my dream, my writing, than to start a blog or website that will allow me to run advertisements through affiliate programs? IF I’m lucky, I can draw a crowd to my writing and begin to make some money.
I want a site where I can encourage comments/discussions and I may even offer free stock photos for people to download to use on websites, magazine articles, backgrounds/wallpaper, ect. . By the way, I am a photographer, as well.
Also, I want to remain anonymous because I plan to write about things that may be offensive to family members and I do not want to cause resentment here when I start to open up and share several stories. I need to find the best website (does not have to be free) or blog service that I can have these options with. I would like to find a site that will be easy to use in regards to setting it up and getting started, since I have never done this before. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
P. S. If you’ve never actually done this yourself, please do not comment because I have been researching for awhile now and unless you’ve “been there, done that”, I would prefer that you save the space for those that have had actual “hands on” experience in this area.
Thanks again!
I just wanted to say thank you to all who answered. I received SO MANY great answers (20 or more in all) and for some strange reason, all but 4 were deleted, (not by me), and if they had NOT been deleted, I would have chosen VOICELEAF for the best answer (I’m so glad I was able to save some of the answers before they were deleted).
I wanted to give a special thanks to Gina J, Lifelong Newbie, and SEO prx for your offers to help and words of encouragement. Also, I really liked the info given by Cameron, Jabari W, SEO E, and AlkalineDietDetox. With all this, I now have a wealth of information to read and put to good use! I would have chosen many more as the “Best Answer” if I could but then, I guess that would defeat the purpose of choosing a best answer!
Those of you who were deleted in error, please email me, if you get to read this by some great chance! I’d like to add you as contacts (tried a search but it appears we can only search for “ANSWERS”). Thanks!
