APCW Reports: Affiliate 888.com

Recently, the 888.com Affiliate Program changed their affiliate commission agreement without notification to their partners. This agreement allows 888 (also running Casino On Net and Pacific Poker) to retroactively lower webmaster earnings from 40% to 10%. We find this sort of behavior by 888.com discusting, but not surprising.

why are you on your roof?

YES, the new structure is for new affiliates… that’s what 888 said. The issues we have with them are:

    1) They did not announce this change and failed to respond to webmaster concerns.

    2) They still refuse to guarantee in writing that this change is NOT retro-active.

    3) It punishes the webmasters for 888′s failure to convert the traffic into players.

    4) This change is a shift away from the traditional revenue share model, and seems like a move to eventually eliminate the affiliate program.
