Are there services that allow a web editor to share revenue with content providers?

For example: A publisher is launching a website on dogs. The editor invites freelance writers to contribute stories about certain types of dogs. Instead of paying the authors of stories on the front, the publisher pays the author a percentage of revenue generated by their stories. Revenues are generated by pay-per-click (PPC) like Google Adsense ads, the cost per thousand impressions (CPM), such as banner ads and other programs, as offered by Amazon. Are there services that facilitate this arrangement?
