Do I have a Computer virus?

We just downloaded an additional mcaffe virus protection thing but now when I try to go on some regular websites it says blocked and a red screen pops up that says protect now and stuff like that and when I go over the link (I haven’t clicked on it yet ) the website is ie8blacklist2. com and it doesn’t look like it’s affiliated wit mcaffe so my question is whether it’s a virus or a legit program

It looks like you just download some new Malware from a site that was unknown until now. You need to download SuperAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware onto a clean computer, copy the files to a flash drive, reboot your computer into Windows Safe Mode and then install and run both programs to clear off the Spyware and Malware.

Sounds like a rogue anti virus. DO NOT click on it.

    They are fake warnings:

Do a quick scan with Malwarebytes its very effective and free, you may have to download it to a USB memory stick from another computer and transfer it to the infected one if you are unable to get on the internet.

If Malwarebytes doesn’t remove the infection try Hitman Pro it scans with five different anti-virus engines at once, simply activate the 30 day free trial then once you PC has been cleaned remove it.

Please email me and let me know if it worked, thanks :)
